First of all, the morphology of the two is different. Solid silicone, as its name implies, is in solid form, and liquid silicone is in liquid state, with liquidity.

Second is the difference in the field of usage, solid silicone is generally used in industrial silicone parts and food grade field, while liquid silicone is mainly used in food grade and medical grade field and silicone products with special requirements.

The molding process is also different, for example, the raw material in solid silicone molding process is a piece of solid, firstly go through the mixing machine,, then go into the cutting machine into the appropriate size and thickness of the product, and finally go through high temperature pressure molding.

Liquid silicone is generally used by injection molding, without artificial pendulum, can avoid secondary pollution of the product. Silicone products formed by this process are better in environmental protection, also with better accuracy and efficiency.
